My 100th post

What a loser. I've been here for around three years and I just made 100 posts? Damn.

Anyway, some poems sitting dormant in my file.

Where I Am

Where I am, there is no snow
But it doesn't mean it doesn't get
Unbearably cold
It doesn't mean people are
Always happy
There are still tears
And they fall, even when there is no snow

Where I am, there are no cherry blossoms
There are no maple leaves
But summer is not endless
Even if it is hot and bright
And the leaves do fall
But not in the autumn

Because where I am, there are no seasons
But it doesn't mean I can't write songs
There are still tears
And they do fall.

The Violin Song

The world becomes waxen
We are like statues
With our frozen memories
Written on our faces

Which point in time
Will you take us next?
Wide-eyed we look at you
While we dream of some distant place

Waking, we find ourselves
Wondering what the next song will be
Waking, we find ourselves
Waiting for the next notes to come

Perspective

What can you see
That I cannot?
It eludes me.
What I have
I do not know I do.
What is it
That I cannot see in the mirror?
It eludes me.
What I have
I do not know I do.
Or maybe it deludes you.
What I do not have
you think I do.
